OUDTSHOORN TO CAPE TOWN

A long day travelling today.  Stopped off at the Cango Caves, one of the natural wonders of the world.

These caves were recently upgraded for the World Cup in 2010 to encourage tourism.

The rest of the day we travelled so not much to tell. Arrived in Cape Town to a nice hotel on the waterfront at dusk.

Cango Caves

Amazing stalagmite and stalagtite formations  in these caves.

Mountainous terrain along the garden route with much of the area growing fruit and also grapes for the wine industry. 

A tunnel through this mountain range for road traffic was approx. 4 kms long.  Not long before we entered Cape Town.
